My Background
Being a woodworker most of my life and a high end furniture maker for over 30 years in the Aspen area I now get to play and create artful objects. When I get up in the morning I can't wait to start creating.
My Medium
I use many different woods like plywood, sustainable exotic woods like Birdseye Maple, Yellowheart, Purpleheart, Bocote, Paduak, Monkey Pod, Wenge, etc. even construction lumber Each wood manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
The Golden Mean and the Fibonacci spiral are found in seashell, pine cone, sunflower seed head, galaxies and more. Mathematics always inspires me and is present in every piece I make. I use math to create.
